Renovation of a medical facility in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of April 12, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. For the Project shown below. The location of receipt of bids will be the Conference Room at Neshoba General, 1001 Holland Avenue Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350. Scope- 1. The scope of work requires the build out of existing entrance on the east side of the existing hospital. 2. This project includes, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. 3. The scope of work will require closure of the main entrance to the hospital. During this time, alternative entrances and means of egress will be utilized. Temporary signage shall be provided to direct clients, staff, and patients to temporary means of egress and access. These temporary signs shall include lighted exit signs (new and modified). No work shall commence until the temporary signage is "in-place" and "approved". 4. There should be two phases of the work as follows: Phase 1: The new Lobby / Vestibule should be constructed in Phase 1, with a temporary hospital entrance provided and signed through the emergency ramp and entrance to the Emergency Department. Removal of concrete and construction debris will be provided at the northern most handicapped packing space. A portion of the new Lobby at the northeast corner of the Lobby shall remain accessible during Phase 2 of the work to allow access to the hospital. Phase 2: Once the new Lobby / Vestibule is available for access and egress, the sitework paving and regrading phase can begin. The emergency ramp, the entrance walk, and the driveway entrance will be cordoned off with barricades to allow for regrading and repaving. Once this work is complete and the new front door to the hospital is accessible, the exterior wall at the northeast corner can be completed. Location- 1001 Holland Ave Philadelphia, MS 39350 Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the bid documents and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post Performance and Payment Bond in the form and amount of 100% within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Bids on the Project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the Project and no bid withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the Project for a period of sixty (60) days. All bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a Prime or Subcontractor to do any work must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985, by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities. The Project shall be completed within 120 calendar days
