Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pomona, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and water / sewer project.

This project provides for the construction of a new six lane, quarter mile track facility. The track will serve as an athletic facility for law enforcement physical fitness training, testing, and K-9 tactical training. The track lighting will allow the facility to be used at any time day or night. The project also includes the supply and installation of a pre-engineered ADA compliant restroom facility. Plumbing, Electrical, and General Construction will be required to perform site work clearing, site drainage system, landscaping, fencing, bathroom building structure, concrete foundation/flat work, masonry, site lighting, extending sewer service, water, and electrical utilities to the site. Bids are being solicited for and separate contract(s) will be issued in accordance with the Wicks Law for the following trades: X General Contracting X Plumbing X Electrical The total Contract Time from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed until the total closeout of the project shall be 150 calendar days. The Contract Time to perform the construction work shall be 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. The Bid security or deposit required to accompany this Bid is Ten Percent (10%) of the total Bid price in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond. Bid bonds/Bid checks will be returned after award of the contract to the successful Bidder or the rejection of all Bids. The County reserves the right to waive any irregularity in Bidding deemed in its sole discretion to be non-substantive or technical in nature, and to reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid or Bids as submitted, or as modified, which in the opinion of the County will be in the best interest of the County of Rockland. The Bid of each Bidder shall contain the certification to non-collusive Bidding as set forth in Section 103-d of the New York State General Municipal Law, included in the specifications.
