Sealed bids for the purchase of 5/8" x 3/4" and 1" Sensus iPERL residential water meters, will be received by the Elmira Water Board at its office at 261 West Water Street, Elmira New York 14901. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the project name plainly written on the outside. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after bid opening. Bidders are not to include in their bid, sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and counties or cities. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements for insuring that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, marital status, military status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, predisposing genetic characteristics, familial status or status as a victim of domestic violence. Non-Collusive bidding Certificate, Waiver of Immunity, Certification of Bidder regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, Iranian Energy Divestment Certification and Bidder's Statement on Sexual Harassment are to be properly executed and submitted with all bids. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to re-advertise for new bids at its discretion.
