Ogden City Corporation is accepting sealed bids for a Construction Contract named as: 2023 Sidewalk Spot Repairs City Wide Project. The work generally includes but is not limited to removing and replacing concrete sidewalk and other flatwork, concrete curb and gutter, and ADA ramps. The work will take place at various locations within Ogden City. Prospective bidders should be experienced in culinary water/utility installation, civil road construction, and need to be in good standing with Ogden City. The Owner reserved the right to accept or reject any bid that best serves its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City. Ogden City encourages and welcomes bids from small, local, women, and minority-owned businesses, and other disadvantaged business enterprises. A complete set of Bid Documents must be used in preparing Bids. Bidders are responsible for securing any and all addenda issued. The location of the work is: Various sites located throughout Ogden City. B. For Purposes of bid evaluation and initial bonding only, the estimated cost of the work is $500,000. C. The guaranteed amount of work to be issued by approved work directive is $275,000.00. D. Any individual project Work Directive under this contract shall be "not to exceed" $150,000. E. The combined total of Work Directives in force at any one time shall not exceed the Bond Limit in B above. F. The project shall be governed by these contract documents, special conditions, specifics related to the work, and all provisions of the current editions of the Manual of Standard Specifications and Manual of Standard Plans published by the Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and the current edition of the Ogden City Engineering Standards and Amendments for Public Works Projects which are applicable to the work are made a part of the Contract Documents by reference. G. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Repairs, maintenance and minor construction on an as needed basis, thorughout Ogden City.
