Renovation of an educational facility in Oshawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of Ontario Institution of Technology (herein "Ontario Tech") is accepting proposals from qualified electrical contractors for the installation of five building-level Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) in the UA East, UB and ERC buildings located at 2000 Simcoe St. N, Oshawa, ON, L1G0C5. The purpose of these UPS is to protect emergency power outlets in these buildings and eliminate the need for individual departments to size, source and maintain UPS for their equipment requiring emergency power. UPS equipment will be supplied by Ontario Tech, but the successful Proponent will be responsible for all cabling and conduit work required to complete the install. All equipment that is supplied by the University is currently onsite landed in the electrical rooms as shown on the attached drawings.
