The Project includes demolition of the existing 1-story Board Office, adjacent playground area and related site work in preparation for the new construction. The demolition work also includes the removal of Category I non-friable asbestos-containing roofing materials on the Board of Education Building Section (See the Asbestos Abatement Specification by for the Specific Scope of Work). This phase shall be completed on or before August 18, 2023. All construction preparation work, project startup, submittals, schedules, approvals, procurement, coordination and other preparatory tasks must commence immediately upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed or the date of the fully executed Owner/Contractor Contract, whichever comes first. The Awarded Contractor must be fully prepared to deliver and install all materials and equipment on the first day of the scheduled On-Site Construction period.
