Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Arlington, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Project Category Code: Street/Roadway Reconstruction Description: The contract consists of the following approximate quantities: Pulverizing and Grading Asphalt Pavement (2,800 square yards), Hot-Mix Asphalt Pavement (575 tons), and 30-inch Concrete Curb & Gutter (175 lineal feet). The quantities and the main sizes are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Additional Description: Portions of this project are funded through a Local Road Improvements (LRIP) grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of Arlington within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The Village of Arlington reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
