CLARIFICATION DEADLINE
2/14/2023 4:00 PM The work generally consists of removing and replacing the metal roof of the public works department maintenance building. Bid Bond: 10% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% CONTRACT TIMES
The Work shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in General Conditions Paragraph 2.03.A, as amended by Supplementary Conditions Paragraph SC-2.03.A, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 90 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The Project generally consists of removing and replacing the roof of the public works
department maintenance building. Work to include
Temporary lighting (if needed)
Remove exiting metal roof, trim, soffit, facia, gutters, and downspouts (re-use existing gutter & downspouts.
Repair purlins as needed.
5. Install new drip edge.
6. Install all new soffit and facia.
8. Incorporate any necessary ventilation.
9. Install new neoprene flange collars on vent pipes.
10. Install new textured metal roof panels and trim.
11. Reinstall new snow guards (2 rows in front and 2 rows in back)
12. Re-install existing gutters and downspouts.
13. Calk all flashings.
14. Off-site disposal of debris.
15. Clean up.
16. Restoration of all areas disturbed during work.
17. Photos (roof trusses and final conditions of work) The work generally consists of removing and replacing the roof of the Public Works department maintenance building, including but not limited to removal and
replacement (in kind) of exiting metal roof and trim, installation of new snow guards, new drip edge and double-bubble between roof panels and purlins;
Incorporation of any necessary ventilation; Installation of new neoprene flange collars on vent pipes; Installation of new textured roof panels and trim; and calking of all flashings. The Work will be performed under one (1) Contract as follows:
