The county reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of twenty-one (21) days after the date of the bid opening. All bidders must understand the Pettis County Commission, (unless expressly stated in the contract language), makes no guarantee of an exclusive contract and further reserves the right to purchase goods and/or services outside of the contracted bids, (provided those purchases are in compliance with all state and federal law). In the event the approved bidder cannot provide prompt delivery of goods and/or services, or in the event of sale pricing of goods or services that result in savings to the county, the Commission reserves the right to make purchases from vendors not currently under contract, again provided those purchases are in compliance with all state and federal laws.
