Construction oversight for replacement watermains at the following project locations. As part of Saanichs infrastructure improvement program, it is planned to complete underground replacement work to eight (8) project locations: Douglas Street: Replace 206m of 300mm cast iron watermain with new 300mm on Douglas Street between Saanich Road and Audley Street. Cedar Hill Road: Replace 304m of 150mm cast iron watermain with new 200mm on Cedar Hill Road between Cedar Hill Cross Road and Garnet Street. Canterbury Road: Replace 98m of 100mm cast iron watermain with new 150mm on Canterbury Road from 650 Canterbury to the west end of the street. Admirals Road: Abandon the 150mm cast iron watermain on Admirals Road between Cowper Street and Colquitz Ave and connect all services to the existing parallel 250mm ductile iron watermain. Carey Road: Replace 168m of 300mm cast iron watermain with new 300mm on Carey Road between Douglas Street and Ravine Way. Rutledge Street: Replace 215m of 150mm cast iron watermain with new 200mm on Rutledge Street from Tolmie Avenue to 3245 Rutledge. Claremont Avenue: Replace 168m of 100mm cast iron watermain with new 200mm on Claremont Avenue between Cordova Bay Road and Lochside Drive. Mountfield Street: Replace 150m of 100mm cast iron watermain with new 150mm on Mountfield Street from Raymond Street to the cul-de-sac. TIMELINE: Project will be tendered and followed separately, pending Owner's needs and approval. Coverage is discontinued.
