The Town Board Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids The TOWN OF GREENBURGH ("Town") is located in the southwestern corner of Westchester County bordered by the City of Yonkers on the south, the town of Mount Pleasant to the north, and to the east the City of White Plains and the Village of Scarsdale. The western boundary is the Hudson River where the Tappan Zee (Mario Cuomo) Bridge connects Tarrytown with South Nyack in Orangetown, New York. The Town has a total land area of 36.1 square miles and is home to approximately 89,000 residents. The town contains six villages (Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Elmsford, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington and Tarrytown). The unincorporated area of Greenburgh consists of the formerly rural areas of the town outside the villages. While hamlets are not recognized as municipal entities in New York State, most properties in unincorporated Greenburgh are classified within one of the town's three federally recognized zones, namely Fairview, Greenville and Hartsdale. The Town has benefitted from an aggressive grant strategy seeking and obtaining grants in local, state and federal funding for a wide array of programs and projects. These include, but are not limited to funding for capital projects, infrastructure investment, plan-making and implementation, and parks and public space improvements. To partner in this effort, the Town seeks an experienced and qualified firm to assist the Town in providing grant writing services for the Town. This effort will involve the research and identification of potential grants, as well as providing general grant writing services associated with the completion and submission of grant applications, program administration and delivery.
