Renovation of a parking garage in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The City of Pittsburgh, Department of Public Works, is soliciting fabrication and installation of structural steel (posts and beam) to reinforce the vehicle bay at Medic Station 8 at 212 Walter Street Pittsburgh, PA 15210. Engineering drawings and a station report can be found in Section 3, Attachments. Note: The concrete work (footings) described in the engineering drawing and report will be completed by a different contractor. Although not included in scope for this bid, coordination with concrete work will be required. During a structural assessment in 2022, a load analysis revealed the first slab span - from the front of the building to the first girder and measuring 10'-1"+- between supports - is approximately 30 percent overstressed in strength under the load of the vehicle's wheels. Although there are no visible signs structural failure, this area of concern should be addressed. All invoices must contain the following information. The City of Pittsburgh will no longer accept "lump sum" invoicing: The City of Pittsburgh Purchase Order Number (e.g. 123456OC) The City Controller Number Pricing breakdown on the invoice is to align to the pricing listed on the contract For all Cost Plus Percent line items, you must list both the cost of the item and the price we are being charged on the invoice so we can ensure we are getting the contracted price. If you have labor hours, they should be separated from the cost of parts. The awarded supplier should provide proof of the cost of goods along with the invoice The City reserves the right to reject, for any reason, any or all bids if it is in the best interest(s) of the City to do so. Each bidder may only submit one (1) bid on behalf of the organization and all subsidiaries. The City of Pittsburgh, Department of Public Works, is soliciting fabrication and installation of structural steel (posts and beam) to reinforce the vehicle bay at Medic Station 8 at 212 Walter Street Pittsburgh, PA 15210.
