As of March 28, 2024, an awarded construction manager has been identified. Construction commenced with the ground breaking ceremony on December 18, 2023. The two-story academic building will house 71 classrooms, a state-of-the-art media center, updated labs and new technology. There will be a separate music suite, and another building will provide more space for an updated cafeteria and dormitory. The construction will also contain a new Career and Technical School. The current one is located off-site and students have to be bussed there for courses. Many of Choctaw Central’s championship sports teams will play in new facilities including a turf football field and a 2,000-seat, two-level gymnasium. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. THE MISSISSIPPI BAND OF CHOCTAW INDIANS is seeking proposals from qualified offerors for CONSTRUCTION MANAGER SERVICES. The selected offeror will provide preconstruction phase and construction phase services for the construction of a new Choctaw Central Middle School and High School campus on a 35-acre site within the Tribe's Pearl River community in Neshoba County, Mississippi. Properly marked and received proposals will be opened at that time and date.
