OPWDD's Capital District DDSO is looking to obtain bids for the construction of a bathroom in our home located at 143 Ingersoll Rd, Saratoga Springs, NY per the attached scope of work. Please be advised that attendance at the site visit is required prior to submitting a bid and has been scheduled for 5/30/23 at 10am. If your company would like to be considered for this project, please review the attached scope of work, attend the scheduled site visit, and submit your bid using the attached bid form to psespurchasing@opwdd.ny.gov no later than COB, 6/6/23. To be considered for this project, all bids must be submitted on bid form provided and include the materials and labor cost break down. REMINDERS: This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. This project is regarding the Installation of New Bathroom space. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award. Location: 143 Ingersoll Rd, Saratoga Springs, NY 12868 NYS Department of Labor PRC # for this project is: PRC# 2023001016 Project to include demolition of existing space as specified by prints. o Removal of 95 sq. ft. of existing flooring to substructure o Removal of 145 sq. ft. of existing interior wall to substructure o Removal of existing window o Removal of 15sq. ft. of exterior wall for new window space o Removal of Fire alarm system access from demolition space using contracted service company (provided by OPWDD) o Removal of heating registers as specified by prints o Removal of existing electrical connections as specified by prints o Project to include construction of new bathroom space as specified by prints o Construction of 95 sq. ft. bathroom rated sub flooring o Construction of 150 sq. ft. wet environment interior wall o Installation of new wet environment rated window o Installation of handicap shower fixtures and surround o Installation of handicap toilet fixtures o Installation of handicap vanity fixtures o Installation of tile flooring and wall as specified by prints o Installation of handicap rails around new construction as specified by prints Installation of wet environment rated electrical fixtures(lights/switches/outlets) as specified by prints o Project will be subject to inspection by OPWDD and third-party inspectors o Third party electrical inspection costs will be the responsibility of the vendor o All work shall be done to NYS Building Code / Plumbing Code / Electrical Code o Vendor shall be responsible for all damage done to existing space during construction.
