Jackson County is accepting sealed bids for patch graveling (flash dumping) on Jackson County roads on an on call, as needed basis. Jackson County Highway Department will supply the gravel for projects designated by the County Highway Superintendent. The County Highway Department will also provide a loader with a scale for loading gravel. Bidder to provide loader operator for loading gravel. The County Highway Superintendent will designate areas of each road on which gravel is to be placed. Weight tickets are to be turned in to the County Highway Department daily. Bids to be submitted by ton mile with an itemized bid explaining how the bidder will bill the county. Work to begin when notice given by the County Highway Superintendent. A Contract will be executed between the successful bidder and Jackson County. The Contract will end on December 31, 2023 The successful bidder will be required to provide a certificate of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 to Jackson County, SD The Board of Jackson County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bids that are in the best interest of Jackson County
