Site work for a water / sewer project in St Pete Bch, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors for the Rehabilitation of the 1st Avenue Fishing Pier. All Contractors must contact the City's Finance Director, in writing via e-mail (vtenaglia@stpetebeach.org), with their intention to bid, along with their company name and contact information at least five (5) business days before the bid package is due. This work involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items necessary to complete repairs to the St. Pete Beach 1 st Avenue Fishing Pier as outlined in the contract documents. Repairs to the Fishing Pier may include installing formwork around the exterior of the pier, filling the void space beneath the pier with flowable fill, installation of hand railings, installation of fish cleaning station with waste tube, and concrete spall repairs. All questions pertaining to the terms and conditions or scope of work of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) must be sent in writing (e-mail is acceptable) to the City Procurement Manager and shall be received no later than February 21, 2023 10AM EST A bid bond, and a certified check payable to the City from a bank authorized to transact business in the State of Florida, in an amount of 5% of your bid shall be submitted with the bid. Surety companies executing bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Florida. The performance bond shall be for 100% of the contract price and the payment bond shall be for 40% of the contract price. The bidder shall include only the actual costs of payment and performance bonds in the line item on the Fee Schedule. The City will not consider any amount in excess of the actual costs of these bonds. The City reserves the right to request documentation from the bidder as to the amount actually paid for these bonds. Surety companies executing bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Florida The City of St. Pete Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids, or accept any bid or part thereof deemed to be in the best interests to the City of St. Pete Beach.
