No Bidding Documents will be mailed or packaged for pick up WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of this Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to the following: Mechanical - The HVAC system for this project will include replacement of the existing watersource heat pumps, rooftop Energy Recovery Unit, water heaters, and packaged rooftop heat pumps. Alterations will be made to existing air devices and ductwork to accommodate new ceilings in renovated areas. All HVAC systems are designed for compliance with ASHRAE 90.1- 2010, 2015 International Mechanical Code and all other applicable codes and guidelines. New controls will be provided for new equipment to integrate into existing controls system. Electrical - The electrical systems in this building will include new LED lighting and lighting controls in various areas including the elementary classroom wing, elementary gymnasium area, and one high school classroom wing. Additionally, six classrooms will require removal, protection, and reinstallation of existing light fixtures and other ceiling mounted devices (occupancy sensors, speakers, projectors, etc.) while the ceiling will be removed and replaced in kind to make way for HVAC ductwork. New branch circuiting from existing panelboards will be provided to HVAC equipment being replaced. Minor additions/modifications to the fire alarm system will be required to connect new HVAC equipment duct smoke detectors to the existing system. New IP based surveillance cameras, associated cabling, and pathways will be provided. Existing pathways will be reutilized for new cabling where existing cameras will be replaced with new IP based cameras. Plumbing/FP - The Plumbing and Fire Protection systems are designed for compliance with plumbing and fire protection codes, as well as KDE guidelines.
