As of May 1, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Project encompasses a construction of up to eighteen (18) ADA curb ramps as a combination of base bid and several alternates across five (5) different intersections in the northwestern portion of Camp Hill Borough. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost of this Project is greater than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) and the federal Davis-Bacon Act shall apply.
