Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A. Notice to Bidders: Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for the project named below by the South Delta School District. B. Project Identification: 21033.01 South Delta School District ESSER 3. 1. Project Locations : a. Site A : South Delta Elementary School 1) 138 Weathers Avenue, Rolling Fork, MS 39159 b. Site B: South Delta High School 1) 303 Parkway Avenue, Rolling Fork, MS 39159 Project Description: Project consists of: 1. The project scope of work includes two (2) school sites under one contract, funded by ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) Federal Funding. 2. The work will include replacing and upgrading HVAC, replacing and upgrading electrical wiring as necessary, providing new unit pads, removing existing unit pads where necessary, removing, installing new ceilings and toilet renovations as indicated in the construction documents. In addition, the envelope shall list the bidders Company name, Company address and all applicable state and local license and registration numbers of the bidder. Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the bidder as the Owner and Architect assume no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid envelope by any employee of the Owner or Architect. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute a contract and post-Performance and Payment Bonds in the form and amount within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The owner reserves the right to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to ninety (90) days. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work by Substantial Completed on July 1, 2023, and Final Completion on August 1, 2023. BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
