The intent of this RFP is to solicit proposals, pricing and a statement of services from qualified proposers to provide necessary repair work to existing storm drains at Cable Dahmer Arena for the Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department. Scope of services includes all labor, materials, and equipment to provide the following: Clearing & grubbing an approximate 15'x15' area at each outlet Fill and compact eroded areas installing riprap where needed Excavate, form and pour new headwall footings where needed Install toe walls and HDPE outlet pipe where needed Regrade slopes where needed Restore and seed disturbed areas All work to be completed within 60 days of Notification of Award by City. Submit questions regarding this RFP electronically by deadline in the RFP schedule. Deadline for questions March 30, 2023, 5:00 p.m. local time Recommendation to Council May 1, 2023 Notification of award May 2, 2023 Missouri Prevailing Wage shall apply to contracts that exceed $75,000. Any contract resulting from this solicitation shall be based upon payment by the contractor or contractor's subcontractors of wage rates not less than prevailing hourly wage rate for each craft or classification of workers engaged to perform the work as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri on behalf of the Department of Labor and industrial Relations. Fourteen (14) storm drains at Cable Dahmer Arena, 19100 E. Valley View Parkway, Independence, MO are in need of differing levels of repair. All storm drains referenced in this RFP are located on the south and east sides of the main parking lot, numbered 1 - 14 on the attached map. Minor Repairs to be completed at twelve (12) storm drains and Major Repairs to be completed at two (2) storm drains.
