This ITQ seeks proposals for a consultant to develop a parking master plan to assess the City's public and residential parking needs with the intent of developing long and short-term planning solutions that anticipate future parking demand. The City of Miami Beach is a barrier island with unique characteristics. The City has approximately 80,000 residents but has an average daily population of approximately 220,000 when considering local workers and regional, national and international visitors. Miami Beach's primary industry is hospitality, contributing to the City's distinction as a tourism destination, and leisure and entertainment center. The City is diversifying its economy by attracting technology and financial firms to establish their corporate offices in the City of Miami Beach. Parking inventory, demand and needs vary based on existing parking infrastructure to support residents, businesses and visitors. City departments may, but are not required to, utilize the results of this ITQ to acquire the referenced service. Award of ITQ does not grant the successful Bidder(s) exclusive rights or any work guarantee to provide the services. The City's budget for this engagement is a total maximum of $100,000.00, inclusive of all expenses, such as: travel or any work-related expense.
