The Centennial School District is seeking proposals from experienced Construction Managers/General Contractors (CM/GC) for work throughout the districts facilities. The CM/GC firm selected will be providing services during the design and construction phases. It is the intent of the Centennial School District to enter into a contract with the selected CM/GC firm, which will include a fixed fee and guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the entire scope of the work. The district requests that no more than two representatives attend from each CM/ GC firm. Late submissions or submissions from firms/teams not represented at the pre-proposal meeting will not be accepted. construction budget of approximately $3,500,000. SCOPE OF WORK Centennial School District is seeking Construction Manager/General Contractor [CM/GC] firms to coordinate and manage the building process as a member of a team with the Owner, Architect, Project Manager, and other project consultants. The CM/GC must be skilled in developing schedules, preparing construction estimates, performing value engineering, analyzing alternative designs, studying labor conditions, understanding construction methods and techniques, monitoring and documenting costs, and coordinating and communicating the activities of the team through the design and construction phases to all team members. In addition, the CM/GC must be familiar with the local labor and subcontracting market and be capable of working with subcontractors to generate viable pricing alternatives. Finally, the CM/GC must be experienced in the construction of educational facilities.
