Renovation of an educational facility in Smithfield, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
BIPOLAR IONIZATION AHU RETROFITS: This project consists of installation of bipolar ionization devices in nine air handling units in various buildings as detailed in the drawing package. The project also includes ventilation improvements in the existing cosmetology suite including replacement of exhaust fan EF-1 and installation of a wall mounted far-UVC emitter for air sterilization. Each AHU retrofit shall be provided with add-alternate pricing for installation of the bipolar ionization as outlined in Add Alternates #1 through #4 Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 30 days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
