The Class of Work of this Project is Rock Production. The Work will consist of, but not be limited to, furnishing and delivery of aggregate materials as follows: A total of 11,350 tons of 3/8" - #8 crushed, uncoated rock for chip seal to specified stockpiles in the Redmond, Bend and La Pine Maintenance Zones. Inquiries pertaining to these specifications shall be directed to Chuck Schutte, Operations Manager, in writing at chuck.schutte@deschutes.org or the address above. Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by the County, incorporating all contract documents, addressed and mailed or delivered to Chris Doty, Road Department Director, 61150 SE 27th Street, Bend, Oregon 97702 in a sealed envelope plainly marked "BID FOR SUPPLYING AND HAULING OF CRUSHED, UNCOATED ROCK FOR CHIP SEAL 2023" and the name and address of the bidder. Deschutes County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of Deschutes County it is in the public interest to do so. The protest period for this procurement is seven (7) calendar days.
