The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and shall contain the full name and address of the bidder. All bids shall be sealed and plainly marked "Sealed bid for beaver-seckel ditch #506 rehabilitation project. Engineer's Estimate: $172,098.50 No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of (60) days after the opening thereof. Awarding of the contract shall be to the Lowest and Best bidder as determined by the Board of Marion County Commissioners in the best interest of the County. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. REHABILITATION 0E 1.09 MILES 0E BEAVER-SECKEL DITCH BY REMOVAL 0E LOG JAMS & OBSTRUCTIONS, REMOVAL 0E ACCUMULATED SILT & SEDIMENT AND REMOVAL 0E TREES, BRUSH & VEGETATION THAT PROHIBIT EUTURE DITCH MAINTENANCE. This project consists of approximately 5,848 L.F. of existing open ditch cleaning, grading, seeding, cleaning existing culverts, and installation of maintenance drives. This project is located within Marion & Grand Prairie Townships in Marion County, Ohio.
