Renovation of a parking garage in Sterling, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The Town of Sterling, CT requests written proposals from licensed and qualified HVAC companies with offices in the State of Connecticut to replace two propane heaters at the Sterling Town Public Works Garage. The Town Garage is an approximately 4,800 square foot building that serves as a base of operations for four (4) full-time employees year-round. Respondents should provide a statement of qualifications, proposed schedule for project completion, and cost proposal based on the following scope: 1) Removal and disposal of two (2) existing 225,000 BTU Modine Propane Gas Heaters; 2) Install two (2) new energy-efficient 250,000 BTU Modine MODPDP250AN Propane Gas Heaters with Mod28051 LP conversion kits (or equivalent); 3) Install new thermostats if not otherwise included; and 4) Install new vents through structure wall. This project is being funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and as such is not subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage. The Town of Sterling is tax-exempt. Confidentiality - If the Respondent believes that any information in its proposal should be treated as confidential that material shall be clearly marked. The Town shall endeavor to protect confidential material from disclosure to non-Town employees to the extent required by State or Federal law. In no event will the Town be responsible for the inadvertent disclosure of your response to this RFP.
