The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) seeks to hire a consultant to create a Bay Trail Design Guidelines and Toolkit 2.0 document, using the 2016 San Francisco Bay Trail Design Guidelines and Toolkit document as a reference. It is important that the 2.0 document is clear, informative, easy to interpret for public agencies, and simple to find and look up relevant guidance for private right-of-way owners, local agencies and the public. The document should be visually appealing and use numerous high-quality graphics, design plans and specifications to aid in guidance. Per the owner, as of February 6, 2023 the due date is to be determined. The owner states that they anticipate releasing it in late February or early March 2023. .
