The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission (hereafter; "SWSC" or the "Commission"), through its Chief Procurement Officer, is seeking bids from qualified Vendors for Liquid Caustic Soda 50% as pH Control for Water Systems. The selected vendor will supply the SWSC approximately 400 tons, dry weight (Na2O), of liquid caustic soda 50% (diaphragm grade) to West Parish Filters Treatment Plant, located at 1515 Granville Road, Westfield MA 01085-4046. Up to two (2) vendors will be awarded a contract. The term of the Contract shall be for One (1) Year. The amount of the contract will be for an amount not to exceed $200,000.00 per year. All questions must be made in writing and submitted via email to raemarie.walker@waterandsewer.org no later than 02/06/2023 at 4:00 P.M. in order to be considered. The Chief Procurement Officer/designee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the SWSC to do so.
