Renovation of an educational facility in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Union Park Middle School HVAC Capital Renewal Project Phase III. Subcontractor bids are being solicited to complete the work as described below. The project consists of: the replacement and relocation of existing mechanical system in Buildings 6 and 7 of Union Park Middle School. Existing rooftop equipment is to be removed and openings patched. In Building 6, new concrete pads and full CMU enclosures are to be installed outside of the building footprint to house new mechanical equipment. In Building 7, existing exterior mechanical rooms are to be demolished and replaced with larger CMU enclosures to house new equipment. The scope includes all interior and underground work associated with the installation of the new mechanical systems. The RFI deadline is February 7, 2023. Please submit RFI's to estimating@messamconstruction.com. Do not contact the Architect or Owner for information on this project. MBE/WBE Subcontractors & Suppliers are encouraged to participate. The MBE/WBE goal for this project is 23%, LDB goal is 10% and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) is 3%. Payment & Performance Bonds may be required. All bidding subcontractors shall adhere to having all onsite personnel registered with a valid JLA Badge, per Florida Statues 1012.32, 1012.465, 1012.467 & 1012.468. All costs for new employee badging & renewals will be the sole responsibility of the bidding subcontractor.
