The Project is generally described as follows: New Middle School #6. The program for the facility includes a new administration/ classroom building, a new gymnasium and all general construction, site work, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and all other work as indicated in the contract documents. BID SECURITY: A proposal bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Proposal, plus all additive alternatives, if applicable, shall be attached to the Proposal Form. All questions concerning this Proposal must be received no later than 2:00 PM, on February 22, 2023. Inquiries should be identified by title, date, proposal number, and should be submitted and posted to Judson ISD Public Purchase site. Judson ISD will then forward all inquiries to the Architect. Inquiries sent in any other format and/ or any other party will not be considered. TIME OF COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETION: The Project must be complete and ready for occupancy not later than July 2025 assuming that the successful Offeror is given notice of its top ranking on or before March, 24, 2023. Any proposal must provide for final completion by this date. Alternately, Offerors are asked to submit the number of calendar days required for completion of the Work, if completion of the Work shall be prior to such date. Offerors are advised that The Project is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $1,250.00 per day for each day's delay in the Substantial Completion of the Work.
