Noah Hofrichter 563-556-2464 noah.hofrichter@origindesign.com The Project includes the following Work: The work under this contract shall consist of traffic control, bridge structural removal with minimal debris, excavation, grading, corrugated metal culvert pipes, concrete masonry end walls, aluminum box culvert, backfilling, base aggregate dense, HMA pavement, guardrail, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work at two project sites as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. Bids are requested for the following Contract: CTH G (CTH H to STH 33) and CTH E (STH 16 to CTH DE) Culvert Replacements. Project Schedule: The Work will be substantially complete on or before September 1, 2023, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before September 15, 2023. Milestone 1 - CTH G Closure (28 Days) - Close and detour CTH G to through traffic for a maximum of 28 Calendar Days when performing construction operations which require excavation within or immediately adjacent to travel lanes and shoulders. Refer to the Agreement Article 4 - 4.03 Milestones for additional requirements. Milestone 2 - CTH E Closure (28 Days) - Close and detour CTH E to through traffic for a maximum of 28 Calendar Days when performing construction operations which require excavation within or immediately adjacent to travel lanes and shoulders. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
