Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Oxford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 50,035-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
As of March 9, 2023. Project has been awarded to the ff: SSM Industries Inc $43,500 Wagman Construction $159,000 Prime Bids will be received for the following: Base Bid A - General Construction Work. Base Bid B - Plumbing Work. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish to the School District a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the bid, as required by the "Public Works Contractors' Bond Law of 1967" and in a form acceptable to the Owner. This project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act No. 442 as amended. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date established for receipt of bids, except such period shall be 120 days if the award is delayed by the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant. No cash allowances are included in the project. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.
