Downes Construction Company, LLC acting as Construction Manager at risk (CMR) on behalf of the Town of Killingly will receive sealed bids or the individual bid packages identified in the Contract Documents and as indicated below for the Killingly Memorial School -- Expansion & Renovation, 339 Main Street, Danielson, CT 06239. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND WALK-THROUGH will NOT be held for the project. All questions regarding bidding procedures, bidding documents and construction procedures are to be directed in RFI form to the Construction Manager at knnsbidPdownesco.com . All answers will be published by written Addendum. Extension of the RFI deadline may only be revised by written addendum. Questions received verbally will not be answered. The RFI submission deadline is Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 12 Noon EST. RFI deadline may change at the CMR's discretion via addenda PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT -- Each Subcontractor and their lower tier subcontractors must review, sign and adhere to the requirements of the Project Labor Agreement (PLA) governing this project. ALL Subcontractors and their subcontractors must sign the Letter of Assent (LOA), as a requirement of the Contract. This Subcontractor is required to coordinate with the Local Unions and the proper trades are to be utilized for ALL work required on this project. 7. EEO/LOCAL EMPLOYMENT GOALS -- Each Subcontractor will responsible to document a "Good Faith Effort" to employ a participatingworkforce comprised of: o Thirty Percent (30%) Windham County Residents o Twenty percent (20%) Town of Killingly Residents o Ten percent (10%) minority workers o Five percent (5%) female workers o Five percent (5%) veteran workers Refer to the Project Labor Agreement for additional information and requirements.
