Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Wysox, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

WYSOX COMMUNITY PARK PHASE II DEVELOPMENT PROJECT a) Installation of temporary erosion and sediment control measures per approved plans b) Demolition and site preparation per the approved plans c) Procurement of materials and installation of the required signage d) Procurement of materials and installation of a new parking area with ADA accessible parking at existing parking area e) Procurement of materials and installation of the Kayak Launch Access Drive and Turn Around and the Pervious Pavers at Kayak Launch per approved plans and Chapter 105 permit. f) Procurement of materials and installation of the concrete walkway and paved walking trail per the approved plans. g) Site preparation, procurement, and installation of compacted gravel and concrete footings for the removable bollards, concrete picnic tables, concrete benches, restroom facility, playground, playground rubber surfacing, per the approved plans. h) Receipt of, assembly, and installation of the owner purchased and provided concrete picnic tables, concrete benches, trash receptacles, removable bollards, and playground. The concrete picnic tables, concrete benches, trash receptacles, removable bollards, and playground shall be purchased by the Owner, seperate from this contract/bid, and provided to the contractor. i) Procurement, assembly, and installation of the composting restroom facility (comfort station). j) Preparation and coordination with manufacturer and owner for installation of Poured-in-Place (PIP) Rubber Surfacing at playground. Rubber Surfacing shall be purchased by the Owner, separate from this contract/bid, and installed by the manufacturer. k)Procurement of materials and installation of mulch mounds (plants, boulders, mulch, etc.) per the approved plans. l) Final grading and vegetative restoration of disturbed areas to smoothly meet all edge of proposed items. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount not less then ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid submitted. This sum will serve as a bid security and will be forfeited to Wysox Township as liquidated damages in the event that an award is made, and the contract and bonds are not promptly executed as required in the contract documents for required bonds and insurance coverage. This project is subject to the labor standards as required by the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act #442 and reference is made to prevailing wage rates applicable to this project and which have been included as part of this project. Where a particular craft is not listed in the prevailing wage rates, the contractor shall contact the Department's rate determination department to determine the rates that will apply to satisfy the Act's Requirements. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date specified for opening and reading of the bids, except as provided in accordance with the Pennsylvania Act No. 4 as approved on January 23, 1974.
