The Successful Bidder shall perform roadside mowing to control the growth of grasses, weeds and brush along roadways in Wards 12, 13 and 15 within the City of Hamilton. The Work shall consist of mowing all areas identified in Appendix A - Roadside Mowing Map and Master Cut Sheet. There is no bid security, performance security or labour and material payment security required for this Request for Tenders. The City reserves the right to request, prior to the award of the Contract, proof that a Bidder is in compliance with the municipal zoning by-laws within the City of Hamilton regarding the property(ies) at which the Bidder is proposing to: (a) operate its snow removal or landscaping business to provide the services described in this Tender; and (b) store its equipment to be used in providing the services described in this Tender. There are no scheduled site meetings for this Request for Tenders. This Request for Tenders is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). If a Bidder requires this Request for Tenders in a different format to accommodate a disability, the Bidder must contact the Procurement Specialist as soon as possible and in any event prior to the closing date. The Request for Tenders in the different format will be issued only to the requesting Bidder and all Addenda will be issued in such different format only to the requesting Bidder.
