Renovation of a municipal facility in Milford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Milford Select Board, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Milford Youth Center Media Room Project located at 24 Pearl Street in Milford, MA. The work of this Contract generally includes interior renovation of an existing unfinished space including demolition, relocation, furnishing and installing Architectural, Mechanical-HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Fire Alarm systems to convert the space into a Media Room Bids will be accepted only from General Bidders who are qualified and eligible to bid on this Project. Incomplete bid packages will be disqualified from consideration. Bidders are encouraged to comply with the State MBE/WBE goals. The minimum wages on the Project shall be established by the Minimum Wage Schedule, as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 25 to 27D, inclusive, as amended and is included in the Bidding Documents. Bid Bond must accompany Bid. The bid bond will be executed in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid sum. Bids submitted without a properly executed bid bond will be considered non-responsive. The project will be awarded on March 3, 2023 to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder who will be required to furnish additional documents as required by the Bidding Documents. Construction to start on April 3, 2023, substantial completion of the project to be approximately 90 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed.
