Renovation of a fire / police facility in Oak Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Village of Oak Park will receive bids from qualified electrical contractors for the Police Dept. Prisoner Area Heat Improvements Project. The Village of Oak Park reserves the right to issue proposal documents and specifications only to those contractors deemed qualified. No proposal documents will be issued after 4:00 p.m. on the working day preceding the date of proposal opening. The Village is seeking bids from qualified electrical contractors to install three new electric heaters and a new electrical panel and associated materials, circuitry, and components in the prisoner area in the Police Dept. lower level of Village Hall, located at 123 Madison St., Oak Park, IL 60302. i. Supply and install 3 phase wire with ground in new 2" conduit with new supports throughout the new 220' conduit run from MDP (main distribution panel) to jail cell area store room where new 200-amp 40 circuit 3 phase panel (furnished by contractor) will be mounted. ii. Supply and install three 208-volt 5000 watt Qmark or equivalent heaters with local disconnects and thermostats on each. iii. Mount two heaters in male jail cell area and one in female jail cell area. Each heater to direct heated air flow towards cells.
