Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Security Cameras / Systems and Door Access Controls Funding for this project will come from the 2022 USDOJ School Violence Prevention Program Grant. The Wilmington Area School District (WASD) is seeking sealed proposals for security systems to replace outdated security cameras and door access controls at the Wilmington Area School District (WASD). The WASD's current camera system consists of 121 low resolution cameras recording onto one server. All cameras are connected via Cat5 or Cat6 cabling and they terminate into a patch panel in the network closet that is closest to the camera. The security footage is accessed via a third-party software program called VI MonitorPlus or via a web interface, which is used to access the recorded footage from all cameras. The current door access control system is called MonitorCast. It is a card and fob reader system with readers on several entrance doors, as well as door open/close sensors on most exterior doors. We are requesting proposals for a new IP Camera System which preferably can integrate with a new door access control system. The IP camera system and door access system should be two separate proposals that indicate how they integrate with each other. We will also accept proposals for systems that do not integrate.
