Introduction. This is a non-personnel service contract to provide depot-wide on-call duct work and exhaust hood cleaning services. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. 1.1. Description. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform depot-wide on-call duct work and exhaust hood cleaning service as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. 1.2. Place of Performance. All of the systems within the scope of work are located on the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), located in the Pocono Northeast region of Pennsylvania. 1.3 Site Visit. In order to gain an understanding of this service contract it is suggested that potential bidders attend a scheduled site visit. 2.0 Performance Requirements. Follow all National fire Protection Association (NFPA 96) standards. (Table 11.4 Schedule of Inspection for Grease Buildup) 2.1 Exhaust Hood Cleaning. There are currently eight (8) kitchen areas located throughout the installation that will require cleaning. 2.1.2 Objectives. Requires that the systems in place, are functioning properly in accordance with (IAW) the manufacturer's specifications and National fire Protection Association (NFPA 96) standards.
