Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Friday Harbor, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; water / sewer project; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Port of Friday Harbor is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the Northwest Hangar Taxilane Construction project at the Friday Harbor Airport. Elements of work for this project include, but are not limited to, existing pavement demolition, approximately 850 linear feet of asphalt or concrete taxilane construction, site grading, drainage improvements, fencing, and pavement marking. This contract is for a public works project subject to the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (RCW 39.12), and the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141, et seq).The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates, as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor, or the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, including any appropriate amendments. The contractor shall pay the state or federal prevailing wage rate, whichever is higher, and the most stringent requirements under this contract.No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by Port of Friday Harbor unless the Bidder is registered with the Washington State Department of Licensing, as required by RCW 18.27. $1,000,000 - $1,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
