Minooka Community High School District 111 (the District) is requesting sealed proposals from qualified firms (the Contractor/Bidder) for comprehensive facilities management and related support services for the Minooka Community High School South Campus located at 26655 W. Eames, Channahon, IL 60410, from a single source supplier.. Said services will support the District mission, operations plan, and capital assets while maintaining a high level of facilities service in an environment of limited financial resources. The District foresees the necessity to maximize the value of all services received from its facility departments including custodial; maintenance; and grounds. Therefore, it is desirable to seek the services of professional, specialized facility management personnel, programs, and resources to support and compliment the District leadership team. Proposals will be irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days. Contractors may withdraw proposals any time prior to the proposal opening. No proposal received after the time indicated will be considered. It is the Contractor's responsibility to assure this deadline is accomplished. A representative of the Contractor authorized to sign contracts shall sign the bid submissions. Failure to submit all information requested may result in rejection of the Contractor's proposal. Contractors must submit one (1) original, one (1) additional unbound paper copy and one (1) copy electronically in a PDF format of each bid proposal. Bid proposals must be prepared completely, providing a concise description of capabilities to satisfy District requirements, and formatted per pertinent specifications. Emphasis will be on completeness and clarity of content, presented in the most direct manner possible. BID BOND: Each prospective Bidder must enclose a bid security deposit in the form of a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than 5% of the total annual first year bid cost. Bid bonds of all non- successful Bidders shall be returned within seven (7) days of the award of the bid. Successful Bidder's bid bond will be returned at the start of the contract PERFORMANCE BOND: - At the District's sole option, at the beginning of every contract year, upon thirty days' written notice to the successful Contractor, the successful Contractor may be required to provide the District with an annual performance bond equal to 50% of the expected annual value of their services to the District. The Bidders shall include the annual cost to the District for the performance bond on the pricing pages. Bidders are also required to provide with their bids a letter of surety to ensure that the Bidder can provide the performance bond if requested by the District. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept bids in whole or in part and/or to waive any irregularities or defects in any proposal, should the Board deem it to be in the interest of the District to do so. The contract shall be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsible Bidder meeting the specifications and requirements as determined by the District. In determining the lowest responsible Bidder the District shall consider, conforming the bid to these specifications, the terms of delivery, quality and serviceability of each Bidder, as well as such other factors as the District deems relevant. A Contractor(s) may be required to provide additional information as needed, to satisfy the District that the Contractor(s) is able to fulfill the contract.
