The unit cost must include any mobilization fees/charges per site. Approximately $135,000 of concrete and pavement repairs will take place in 2023 under this contract. The selected bidder will walk the district-identified sites with district staff to provide hard bids using the unit cost. Bidders may bid for any or all unit costs. Bidders are required to provide certified payroll with the invoice; invoices must match bids, and be submitted by the site. Full Depth repair is to be considered as 8" of pavement. Subgrade removal and replacement are to be considered of 8" of soil, base rock replacement to be 8 of MODOT Type 5. Seal coat to be a 1-squeegee coat and 1-spray coat. Crack seal sealant material shall be a hot pour elastomeric type conforming to the requirements of ASTM D 6690 Type II. The cut-sheets must be sent in with a bid. All cracks wider than 1/4 are to be sealed. All over banding shall be kept to a minimum. After the sealant has cooled, settling shall not exceed 3/8 below the surface. Work may begin June 1 st and must be completed by August 6, 2023 All curb unit costs are to include removal and replacement. All concrete replacement to be dowelled, and rebar installed on 24 E.W. O.C Bidder to supply price deduct per Sq.Ft for new concrete that does not need removal or hauled away. All concrete removal to be hauled off-site and disposed of. All soil removed to be hauled off-site and disposed of. Concrete clean-out bags must be included and must be hauled away. NO CONCRETE CLEAN OUT ON SITE unless more work is coming at the same site. Black dirt backfill, seeding, and seed blanket to be installed by the bidder. Curbs to have 2- #4s Con. Rebar is not epoxy coated Certified Payroll must be submitted with every pay-app, and checked before a check will be issued. Seal-Coating work may have to be split up to allow access to the building at all times.
