Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Waterford, Virginia. Working plans call for the addition of a 20,000-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; office development; theater / auditorium; and warehouse / distribution facility.

This project provides for the renovation and construction of an estimated 14,000-20,000 square foot addition at Waterford ES that will include a multipurpose room, four (4) classrooms, and other ancillary spaces. The multipurpose room will provide program space as a gymnasium and auditorium with associated storage and office space. The four classroom addition will accommodate kindergarten classroom space. Renovation work will include the cafeteria, kitchen, and office areas. The project, upon completion, will also remove all modular classrooms from the school site. Project is in Loudoun County capital budget FY2026 CIP. As of January 21, 2026, this project is in the construction documents phase. Advertisement for bidding is anticipated to occur in late first quarter 2026. Construction is expected to start in June 2026.
