Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Canton, North Carolina. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel.
The State of North Carolina, through its Office of State Budget & Management Disaster Recovery Section ("OSBM-DR"), serving as Program Manager of the Tropical Storm Fred Residential Recovery Program (RRP) for the North Carolina Division of Emergency Management ("NCEM"), will be accepting and opening sealed bids for the reconstruction of one (1) bridge identified in the invitation below (the "IFB") in the manner and locations below. Written inquiries regarding the IFB may be email to OSBM-DR (Tylor Dockery, Senior Project Manager) at tylor.dockery@osbm.nc.gov up until 5:00 pm on February 16, 2023 and OSBM-DR will post an addendum of answers to those inquiries or questions presented at the pre-bid meeting by February 17, 2023 at 5pm. Bridge driving surface to be coated with "chip seal" type material using fine aggregate and asphalt binder. Handrails of a 42" minimum height to be provided. Construction to be of treated lumber with 4x6" or 6x6" nominal posts and securely fastened to railcar.
