The purpose of this quickquote is to establish a contract for the inspection and /or maintenance of the fire alarm and sprinkler system with one qualified contractor. Contractor must test all detectors and manual stations for alarms initiating capability in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended/required testing procedures using applicable software. Contractor must perform static testing for detectors. All adjustments shall be consistent with manufacturer's recommendations and institutional approval. Contractor must be licensed and must provide all tools, materials, equipment and consumables necessary to complete inspection of and/or maintenance on the fire alarm and sprinkler system located at Pocahontas State Correctional Center 317 Old Mountain Road Pocahontas, Virginia 24635 an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Corrections. The contract period will be from April 1st , 2023, through March 31st , 2024, and may be renewable in accordance with section V, paragraph E. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation.
