The County of York, Virginia (County) is utilizing a two-step process to select a firm to assist in the achievement of improved energy efficiency, with the goal to significantly reduce the operational costs and improve efficiencies at the County that may be associated with the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, chilled water systems, hot water boiler systems, lighting systems, control systems, and any other energy costs of County facilities, through: Reduction of energy consumption of existing operating systems like HVAC, Lighting, Optimizing Automated Controls, Retro-commissioning, Water Conservation, and Building Envelope. In addition to those specific operating systems, services may also include addressing insulation, caulking, window replacements, etc. Improvement of air quality and air filtration Expansion of county Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure Evaluation and implementation renewable energy opportunities Questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to the Contract Officer not later than 1:00 p.m. on June 30, 2023 All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred).
