The City of Doraville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for 2023 Street Resurfacing for the Department of Public Works. The contractor must self-perform tasks constituting a minimum of (50%) of the value of the contract. Work will be done in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation's Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications, and Pay Items Index as standards and specifications for the construction and completion of the work required, except as noted or directed by Engineer. Colquitt Drive - Patch Work Alison Drive - Mill asphalt 1.5 inches Valmar Drive - Mill asphalt 1.5 inches 24" Solid White (Stop Bar) Pin Oak Circle Mill asphalt 1.5 inches Longmire Way Mill asphalt 3.5 inches 5" Solid White Thermo The Patching on Colquitt Dr consists of one location that measure 13 feet by 26 feet. This area will receive 440 LB/SY of 25mm SP, and 165LB/SY of 9.5 TP II SP. Longmire Way Mill and Inlay The work on Longmire Way will consist of the milling of 3-1/2" of Asphalt and replacing it with a 2" intermediate layer of 19 MM and a final surface course of 1-1/2", 12.5 MM. The contractor will mill each lane individually, and traffic will not be permitted to travel on milled surfaces. After the required depth milling is completed on a lane, it will be proof rolled, and areas will be marked for patching. The contractor will then place the intermediate layer before opening the lanes back to traffic. After completing the 19mm intermediate layer, the lane may be opened to traffic. Alison Dr and Valmar Dr Curb Adjustment For the Pay Item Adjust Granite Curb, TP A, the following areas are identified on Alison Dr to be adjusted. McClave Dr to 3409, 60 LF 3423 to 3429 16LF, at 3439, 8LF 3451 to 3457 31LF at Intersection with Raymond Dr, 17LF, Raymond Dr to 3490 22 LF, 3450 to 3498 12 LF, 3442 to 3434 21LF, 3434 to 3426, 17LF, at 3416, 11 LF, and 3416 to McClave Dr, 102 LF. For the Pay Item Adjust Granite Curb, TP A, the following areas are identified on Valmar Dr to be adjusted. At 2639 16LF, at Alison Dr intersection, 40LF, and at 2616, 3LF. Oakcliff Road and Pin Oak Circle Intersection Intersection improvement as directed by the Engineer shown in Exhibit L. Power pole relocation, radius improvement by others. Scope involves milling, paving, striping and loop work. * All Crosswalks shall be remarked with marking tape IMMEDIATELY upon milling or placement of asphalt. Bids shall be accepted prior to the due date, but not later than the due date and time. Bids shall be submitted in hard copy format (two originals) and one flash drive. Any bid submitted in any other format (email, fax, mail, etc.) will not be accepted. 1.
