Jackson Public Schools is seeking sealed bids: Sale, Delivery and Installation of a combination walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer. This bid also includes the demolition and removal of the current unit Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted no later than 12PM on Thursday, February 9th. All questions should be directed to Todd Frey, Director of District Operations, (todd.frey@jpskl2.org) Bid Specifications include: Demolition and disposal of existing walk-in cooler/freezer and its associated refrigeration equipment. Sell, Deliver and Install combination walk-in freezer/cooler with floor. S Overall dimension of new unit is 21.75 Feet wide X 9.33 Feet deep and 8 feet high, split evenly between the cooler and freezer. Unit will require an exterior cooler access door. Unit will require an interior access door from the cooler to the freezer. Unit will require an insulated structural freezer floor. Unit will require standard door sizes. Walk-in freezer refrigeration shall consist of one evaporator and one condenser. Walk-in cooler refrigeration shall consist of one evaporator and one condenser. / Electrical requires include: single plus 3 phase, air cooled, new time clock, electronic defrost. Electrical work is required to be inclusive of the base bid. J Bid is inclusive of permits as well as initial Startup and Adjustments.
