Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in West Branch, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Iosco Regional Educational Service Agency (IRESA) is soliciting sealed bid proposals for a Contractor to install an outside 25'x50' concrete basketball court north of the existing parking lot at the Ogemaw Alternative Educational Academy (AEA) site located at 2389 M-76 in West Branch, MI. The contract will include minor grading/excavation, sand fill and subbase preparation, concrete slab placement and the installation of two basketball posts, hoops and backboards. The plans and specifications cover all of the work. Bid bonds are required. Payment and performance bonds will be required. Engineered drawings and specifications have been prepared by Russo Engineering, Inc. Davis-Bacon wage rates will not apply. There will be no organized site visit. Deliberation will take place at the next school board meeting after due diligence has been performed on the low bidder(s). Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as, "Ogemaw AEA Basketball Court Bid". The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, however it is intended to make award of a firm, fixed-price contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based upon the rules outlined in the Bid Form. The project must be completed within 60 days when staff members return for the next school year. No liquidated damages will be assessed. No construction estimate has been calculated.
