AG RFP 01-2023 Municipal Brushing 3.1 The work shall consist of: 3.1.01 Approximately 27 ditch miles of municipal rights-of-way brushing (66-foot ROW), identified on the attached County Map. 3.1.01.1 Brush and trees shall be removed from the road edge up to 29 feet from the centre of the road. 3.1.02 Approximately 15 miles of abandoned rail line used as a utility corridor, identified on the County map. 3.2 Brush and trees shall be mulched to a height of no more than two inches. 3.3 The Proponent shall ensure that: 3.3.01 They familiarize themselves with actual field conditions. 3.3.02 All work is to be done under frost conditions. 3.3.03 All work is complete prior to December 31, 2023. 3.4 In the event of work deemed unacceptable by the County, the proponent shall be required to re-mulch the areas again until the Director of Agriculture Services or her designate is satisfied that the work is acceptable.
